A real hug!

 


Hi Everyone! Here is a card that I made with Penguin Palace goodies! 



To make this card I used an A2 sized panel of white card stock and positioned it in my stamping tool. I used one of the images in the Fun Doodle Dividers stamp set and 
I stamped it with some Versamark embossing ink  9 times.  Next I covered the ink with White embossing powder and then I ink blended my distress oxide inks over the embossed images. 


Then I cut the panel out with a rectangle die and adhered it to an A2 card base. After that I masked one of the sentiments from the Let’s meet  IRL stamp set and  stamped it on a piece of white card stock. I cut the sentiment strip the a little shorter than the width of the A2 card panel and popped it up with some foam tape. 

 I added a few gems and that is it!

Get Lost in a Book Bookmark

Copic colouring and Ink Blending

Pearlescent Vellum Dragonfly

  




Hi Everyone! This is the Etched Dragonfly die from the Simon Says Stamp Crafty Hugs release that I used to make this card! 



I used the pearlescent vellum to die cut the Simon Says Stamp Etched Dragonfly and used the Believe die from Simon Says Stamp to add the sentiment. Then I cut some Simon Says Stamp lavender cardstock to make the card panels.  



Then on one of the panels I ink blended some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Wilted Violet. I added some Studio Katia  Iridescent gems for some additional sparkle.

Simon Says Stamp Exclusive STAMPtember 2020 Blog Party!

 



Hi Everyone! I'm back today to  join in the fun for The Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember 2020 Blog Party! Today I used the new Simon Says Stamp Because of You stamp set to create these cards! 

For the Because of You card I first took out my Tim Holtz Watercolor paper and ink smooshed some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink to create a background. I then stamped the sentiments that I wanted to use on the panel. I then used my Simon Says Stamp Nested Heart dies to cut out a heart out of my panel and to cut some craft foam sheet to pop up the heart. I  and then glued together and then secured them them down using my Gina K Connect Glue.Then used my Nuvo aqua shimmer pen to trace the edge of the heart  for  a hint of some sparkle. I added a few of the Studio Katia Iridescent gems to the card and that's it! Quick and easy card to make! 



For my second card I chose to use the  You made all the Difference sentiment. I first took out my Tim Holtz Watercolor paper and ink smooshed some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink to create a background. I then stamped the sentiments that I wanted to use on the panel. I then used my Simon Says Stamp Nested Heart dies to cut out a heart out of my  panel and to make a card base. I  and then glued together and then secured them them down using my Gina K Connect Glue.Then used my Nuvo aqua shimmer pen to trace the edge of the heart  for  a hint of some sparkle. I added a few of the Studio Katia Iridescent gems to the card and that's all for today!

Anything Goes! Birthday Card Challenge from MFT - Videocraft with Erica!


Hi Everyone! Today Erica @erica_cacacraft and I crafted together! She is in Spain and I am in Canada! Ah the magic of technology! We decided this time to make a Birthday card based on the MFT Birthday Card challenge ! We kept out projects a secret from each other and did our reveal on IG stories!  We had so many laughs that it took 3 hours to make one card! LOL





First I stamped the Beautiful Bloom image from MFT using my MISTI and some Versafine Ink. I added some Wow white embossing powder to the image and heat set it. I then smooshed my Distress Oxide inks on my Glass mat and sprayed them with water. I used a small paintbrush to paint the entire image with the Spun Sugar Oxide Ink. Then used a piece of plastic to smoosh the the Picked Raspberry colour onto the flower - concentrating on the centre.  I stamped and then heat embossed the sentiment on some black cardstock. 

I encourage you to call up your crafty peeps and have some fun!

Using Distress oxides and Copic Markers on a stencil Simon Says Stamp Lucky to Know You Release


The new Simon Says Stamp Lucky to Know You release is live! Today I used the new Leaves stencils along with some Distress Oxide inks and a couple of Copic Markers! First I arranged the stencils on my card front to determine where I wanted to place them. I then inked each stencil up using my Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide inks. I then added a bit of G03 to the Cracked Pistachio and G09 to the Lucky Clover images. Now how easy was that? #simonsaysstamp #sssluckytoknowyou #copicmarkers

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 463 - Videocrafting with Erica




 Hi Everyone! Today Erica (@erica_cacacraft ) and I decided to have do a #videocraft again. We chose MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 463 and make a card!

Fresh-Cut Flowers





#thedailymarker30day coloring challenge Day 7!!! ! Today I stamped the Fresh-cut Flowers background stamp with my Distress Oxide inks. I then used a bit of water and my paint brush to colour them. I’ll turn this into a card later. This was quick and easy to do!. Mermaid at Heart






It’s Day 1 of the 14th edition of #thedailymarker30day Colouring challenge by the wonderful @kathyrac! Today I coloured my friend Sandy @threeroomstudio Mermaid at Heart stamps.
