You are Loved

 


Hi Everyone! I pulled out some yupo paper and some pink Ranger alcohol inks. I wet the yupo with the blending solution first and then added my alcohol ink. I used an air blower to help move the ink and solution around on my yupo paper.  Once the ink was where I wanted it I left it to dry. 

I then took a panel of Neenah solar white  and cut it out  3 times with the Hearts Entwined die from My Favorite Things. I then adhered them together with my Gina K connect glue. Then I took my alcohol ink panel and cut that with the  Hearts Entwined die and then adhered  it  offset to the diecut made of Neenah paper.  

I took a piece of black cardstock and spattered some gold paint on it. While it was drying I  heat embossed the You are loved sentiment from the From the Heart stamp set with white embossing powder. 


I adhered the diecut to the gold splattered black panel and then popped up the sentiment strip on top. There you have it!

Anything Goes! Birthday Card Challenge from MFT - Videocraft with Erica!


Hi Everyone! Today Erica @erica_cacacraft and I crafted together! She is in Spain and I am in Canada! Ah the magic of technology! We decided this time to make a Birthday card based on the MFT Birthday Card challenge ! We kept out projects a secret from each other and did our reveal on IG stories!  We had so many laughs that it took 3 hours to make one card! LOL





First I stamped the Beautiful Bloom image from MFT using my MISTI and some Versafine Ink. I added some Wow white embossing powder to the image and heat set it. I then smooshed my Distress Oxide inks on my Glass mat and sprayed them with water. I used a small paintbrush to paint the entire image with the Spun Sugar Oxide Ink. Then used a piece of plastic to smoosh the the Picked Raspberry colour onto the flower - concentrating on the centre.  I stamped and then heat embossed the sentiment on some black cardstock. 

I encourage you to call up your crafty peeps and have some fun!

The 30 day Colouring Challenge Roadtrip @ MFT Stamps in Eustice Florida



Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing an event that I had the opportunity to attend! It was the Coloring Challenge Road Trip by the wonderful Kathy Racoosin! This Roadtrip was held in Eustice Florida at the My Favorite Things Boutique on December 6th & 7th 2019. Each day was a seperate session so you did not have to attend both days. I did because I was travelling from Canada. 

DAY 1

If you ever get the opportunity to attend a Coloring Challenge Roadtrip just do it. Don't debate about it just do it. The cost of the event goes to a charity and the crafty friends that you will make is 100% worth it. I have met many people in real life that I would not have had the opportunity to without @kathyrac's roadtrips. So when she posts new locations and dates (the daily marker blog) see if there is one close to you and run...don't walk. It definitely is worth it!

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 463 - Videocrafting with Erica




 Hi Everyone! Today Erica (@erica_cacacraft ) and I decided to have do a #videocraft again. We chose MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 463 and make a card!

Little Angels


For day 10 of #thedailymarker30day coloring challenge by @kathyrac  I decided to make a Christmas card!  First I used My Favorite Things Peace Love and Joy mixables  stencil with Gina K Designs Red Velvet Glitz Glitter Gel.  #ohmyglitter! LOL  I then I stamped  a couple of Angels from My Favorite Things Little Angels stamp set with Gina’s K designs Obsidian Amalgam ink and  used my #copicmarkers to colour these  images and popped them up with some foam tape.  Of course I had to use a *little* shimmer!

Beautiful Bloom

Day 9 of #thedailymarker30day coloring challenge by @kathyrac ! Today I stamped  My Favorite Things Beautiful Bloom stamp set with Gina’s K designs Obsidian Amalgam ink! I then used my #copicmarkers to colour this image.

Fresh-Cut Flowers





#thedailymarker30day coloring challenge Day 7!!! ! Today I stamped the Fresh-cut Flowers background stamp with my Distress Oxide inks. I then used a bit of water and my paint brush to colour them. I’ll turn this into a card later. This was quick and easy to do!.
