Three Room Studio Saturday Challenge: Birthday

Hi Everyone!  Welcome to the Three Room Studio Saturday Challenge!

I am your host for the challenge today! The theme is Birthday!

For the challenge today I used the Diamonds stencil from the Diamonds and Stars stencil set! This was a quick and easy card to make multiples of!

I taped the stencil down over a piece of Neenah cardstock and pulled out a rainbow selection of Distress Oxide Inks. I lifted the stencil and then die cut the hooray sentiment from the Yay stamp and dies set. I adhered the sentiment to the rainbow stencilled panel and then adhered the whole thing to an A2 card base.  That's it! Thank you for stopping by today!

2.  Please link to your blog post and NOT your entire blog.

3.  Your project must be new - no back links please.  Only ONE entry per challenge.

4.  The challenge will close at midnight GMT/7:00 pm Eastern Time on Fridays.

5.  You may combine this challenge with other challenges.

6.  Please turn off word verification so that we may comment on your card more easily. We realize a lot of you use it for safety reasons. We will do our best to leave comments for each of our challenge participants, however, trying to figure out those letters and numbers can be very frustrating! We strongly suggest using comment moderation as a friendlier alternative.

7.  Colour challenges - you must use all the colours specified in the challenge. As well as the challenge colours, you can usually use neutrals - white, black, grey, cream and small amounts of brown, but no other colours at all. The host for the challenge may sometimes give different requirements, so please check each post.

8.  Sketch challenges - you can flip or spin the sketch, and change the proportions and shapes, as long as we can still see the basic sketch in your card. Again, the host may sometimes give different requirements, so please check each post.

We would LOVE for you to play along with our Three Room Studio stamps and products but you are more than welcome to use other companies to participate.

OUR PRIZE:  One lucky participant per month will be WIN a $15 gift certificate to the Three Room Studio shop!

Three Room Studio Feature Friday: Diamonds & Stars

Hi Everyone! This is Karen from @cardsstampsandink. Welcome to Three Room Studio's Feature Friday! Today I am sharing a card made with the new Diamonds and Stars layering stencils!

First I took a piece of card stock  panel and and laid the stars stencil on it. I then took some Versamark ink and inked up the stencil. I covered the ink with some white embossing powder and then used my heat to to heat it through. Next I layered the Diamond stencil over the card stock panel with the stars and ink blended a light blue in the centre and then a slightly darker blue around the edges.

Then I took the skater from the Skate Sleep Repeat stamp set and coloured her up with my Copic markers. I took some foam tape and adhered her to the card panel. Then I adhered the entire panel to a card base. I added some chunky glitter to the edges of the panel. Next I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set and cut it out and adhered it to the card.  That is it!

Thank you for looking at the blog today! Be sure to Always stop by to check out the wonderful inspiration from Three Room Studio!

Simon Says Stamp Holiday Sparkle Release!

Hi Everyone! It's release time at Simon Says Stamp

Today I am sharing three cards that I made using the new Simon Says Stamp Printmaking Pines stamp set!

There are 4 easy layers to this stamp set and this is perfect for making multiples! Simply have your pre cut card panels ready and get stamping!

To make this really easy I used my Misti stamping tool. When you stamp then this makes getting a great impression the first time awesome! If you didn't get a great impression because you didn't press down on the entire image you can simply ink up and stamp again!

I  pulled out some ink colours from my Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated inks. First I used the Latte ink for the base of the trees image. Then I inked up each of the other three layers using the inks from lightest to darkest.

Next I took 3 card bases made with 110# Neenah paper and swiped the medium ink pad colour directly to the front to make a coordinated base. Then I took my quickie glue pen and traced the perimeter of the card panel and then poured some chunky glitter on it. I added a few gems and that is it!

Thank you for stopping by today!
