Like Birds of a Feather...

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a card that I made using some stamps and dies from Dare 2B Artsy.

First I took  a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper and stamped one of the the bird images with my Versamark ink. Then  I sprinkled some white WOW clear embossing powder over the ink and then heat it up.

Next i used my Ink on 3 inks and smushed them on my Tim Holtz glass mat. I spritzed the ink with water and then used my Escoda brush to pick the ink up to colour the bird in.

Next I used some images in the stamp set to create a background on some Neenah paper. I die cut that out a little smaller than A2 size.  I adhered that to an A2 card base of Neenah paper.

After that I die cut the bird out with the coordinating dies and popped it up on the patterned panel with some 3M foam tape.

Lastly I stamped a sentiment on a strip of Neenah paper and adhered it to the patterned panel. I added a few gems and that is it!

With Love....Butterfly!

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing a card that I made using the Penguin Palace Butterfly Emergence dies, Oriental cover plate and a sentiment from the Magical Christmas sentiments stamp set! So simple to make and can be used for a variety of occasions! What other occasions would you use this card for?

First I cut out the base panel out of some Neenah Cardstock. Next i used the Oriental Cover plate die and adhered it to my card base of Neenah cardstock.  Next I cut out the standalone Butterfly out of some Penguin Palace Grand Piano Cardstock and adhered it to the base panel.

Then I lifted the butterfly wings up and added some gems to the body of the Butterfly and sprinkled them on my card.
Next I stamped the sentiment  from the Magical Christmas Sentiments stamp set on a sentiment strip and popped it up on my card!

That's it!

Wish I could hug you!

Hi Everyone!  It’s National Hug day!

Today I am sharing a card that I made with an easy “watercolour” background, an embossing folder and sentiment from Simon Says Stamp!

First I took a piece of Tim Holtz distress watercolour paper and die cut it a bit smaller than A2 size. I spritzed the panel with water by using my Distress spray bottle. Then I smushed the  Ink on 3 Peacock Blue & Bee Sting Atelier inks on my Tim Holtz glass mat. I spritzed that ink with some water. Next I took the cut down piece of watercolour panel  and lay it in the ink and moved it around until it was fully covered and then set it aside.

While that watercolour panel was drying I took a piece of Neenah paper and cut out the Wish I could Hug you die three times and adhered them together. Next I cut out the sentiment shadow out of some vellum and adhered it to the diecut sentiment.

Now that the watercolour panel is dry I put it into the embossing folder and ran it through my diecut machine. I adhered the whole sentiment and shadow to the embossed watercolour panel and then to an A2 card base made from Neenah 110# paper and that is it!

Hope you perk up soon!

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a card that I made using some products from Dare 2B Artsy.

This is such a simple get well soon card and this stamp set is just perfect for it.

First I took the coffee words from the stamp set to create the background . I stamped it three times using my my Misti stamping tool in order to get perfect placement. Next I sprinkled some WOW clear embossing powder over the ink and then heat it up. That gave the background a bit of a shine . Next I die cut it out a little bit smaller than A2.

Then I stamped the cup and the handle from the stamp set and coloured them with my Copic markers.  I die cut them out using the coordinating dies and set them aside. After that I cut out a panel  of black paper a little bit smaller than A2. I adhered the black panel to the card based of 110# Neenah solar white paper. Then adhered the coffee words panel to it.

I took some of my 3M 3-D foam tape and popped up the cup and adhered it to the panel . Lastly I stamped the hope you park up soon sentiment on a piece of white card stock and die cut it out using a flag die and popped it up on the panel .

That's it!

Hi Everyone! Happy Dr Martin Luther King day! I am back today sharing a card that I made using diecut from the card that I made a few days with some goodies from Hero Arts!  First I stamped the sentiment from the Hero Arts United as One stamp set with some brown ink on an A2 card base of 110# Neenah  cardstock.

Then I took the diecut panel of the Hero Arts confetti die that I had made stripes of skin tones with my copic markers and used 3 different sizes of the heart dies from the Hero Arts Heart infinity dies set and cut hearts from the panel.  I used the same sized hearts to cut some Neenah paper and adhered them to the die cut striped hearts. I adhered them on the card base and popped up the 2 larger hearts with some craft foam and that is it!

On your special day!

Hi Everyone! I am back today sharing a card that I made with Penguin Palace goodies!

I first took out my Tim Holtz Watercolor paper and ink smooshed some Ink On Three Inks- Sweet Petunia Pink, Marigold Orange and Bee Sting Yellow Ink pads onto my Tim Holtz glass mat. I spritzed the ink with water and then dabbed my paper into the ink. I let it dry in between each of the three times that I repeated the process.

Once the panel was dry I die cut it using the Butterfly emergence layer 2 dies. I adhered the background piece to my 110# Neenah card base with my Gina K connect glue. Then I added some glue to the body of the butterfly and adhered it to the panel. I added some gems to the body of the butterfly and on the card panel. I then stamped the sentiment from Let's meet IRL stamp set and made a sentiment strip and popped it up with some 3M foam tape.
Thats it!

I cut out the ice with a swimming pool die from my stash and used some embossing powder on it to sparkle it up! I also cut a piece of cardstock to create the snow back in the background and used some Versamark ink on the edge and the same embossing powder to give it a cohesive look! I  stamped the sentiment form the Skate, Sleep, Repeat stamp set  on some cardstock and cut it out. That's it!

You are...LOVED!

Hi Everyone! I am back today sharing a card that I made using some goodies from Hero Arts! First I took one of the heart dies from the Hero Arts Heart infinity dies set and cut out a piece of Gina K masking magic. I placed it on an A2 panel of 110# Neenah  cardstock and used one of my red copic markers to colour around it. Then I removed the mask. I used a rectangle die to cut this panel slightly smaller than A2.

Then I took another  A2 panel and made stripes using skin tones with my Copic markers.  After that I cut the panel out using the Hero Arts Heart Confetti Fancy die. I used the hearts that were cut out from the die and adhered  them inside the heart that I had masked off on the other panel.  I adhered the whole thing to an A2 card base of 110# Neenah paper.

Then I stamped a sentiment from the Hero Arts United as One stamp set with some black ink and popped it up over the heart with some foam tape. I added some shimmer to the whole card and a few gems and that is it!

Be sure to stay tuned for when I use the remainder of that diecut that the hearts came from!

Thanks for stopping by!

You are in my thoughts!

Hi Everyone!

Today I am sharing a card that I made to send to a friend. You know the feeling when someone runs across your mind? I try to pick up the phone and call them. I want to get better at sending "just because type of cards. Do you create cards to send " just because"?

I made an A2 Card base from Neenah cardstock. Next I took an A2 sized panel and used my Rabbit Hole designs embossing powder tool and brushed across the panel. I placed it in my Misti and used some Versamark Ink to stamp the Simon Says Stamp Fractured Background. I then poured some Wow Mettalic Silver embossing powder over the ink and heat it up with my Heat tool until melted. I cut it a little smaller than an A2 panel and adhered it to the A2 card base.

Next I took a piece of Simon Says Stamp vellum and cut the shadow of the snowflake out with my Gemini Junior. Then I took a piece of the Simon Says Stamp matte silver cardstock and cut out the snowflake. I adhered the snowflake to the shadow and adhered the whole thing to the card. I stamped my sentiment form the Simon Says Stamp & CZ Design Simple Sentiments 1 stamp set and added a few gems and that is it!

Thank you for stopping by!
